TRAVEL: Tagaytay and Enchanted Kingdom 2017

6:16:00 AM
Finally updated my blog!!! This semester is absolutely stressful! Good thing I survived. J I have gained new friends and one of them is the reason behind our Getaway (Thanks Den!). So, here goes…
Tagaytay – Enchanted Kingdom 2017 Trip was organized by Momshie Den. The adventures are Ben, Dennice, Coleen, Karylle, Danico, Regina, Sitti, Maricon, Rohoney and I. All of us were already awake at 2am (some did not even bother to sleep).
Coleen and Dennice
Our first destination is Picnic Grove. We arrived at approx. 8am (not sure of the exact time though).  The entrance is P50 per person.Inside picnic grove, you will see a lot of souvenir shops, you can also try their zipline and if you want to rent a cottage, you need to pay P150. The temperature in Tagaytay is not as cold as I expected pero mararamdaman mo pa rin yung malamig na simoy ng hangin. We ate the yummy spaghetti cooked by Den na kaya pala masarap kasi dinadagan ng dalawang tomato sauce ng mommy nya =) Even in Tagaytay, we cannot stop talking about the happenings last semester. Those moments that we felt the pressure and stress. May mga naglabas ng sama ng loob pero itinawa na lang namin lahat.

Next stop is People's Park in the Sky. The entrance fee is P30.00 per person. Since we were so tamad to walk uphill, we payed P7.00 each for the jeepney ride. Once you reached the top, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Take some instagram worthy photos. You can also try their Tagaytay Adventure Jungle. Fifty pesos per animal (parrot, snake or crocodile) you want to hold and have a picture with. I chose the friendly snake. i also wanted to hold the crocodile kaso naisip ko next time na lang pag balik ko. Gusto ko kasi yung mas malaki na crocodile para enjoy haha

I’ve been in Tagaytay a lot of times and for now, this is the best Tagaytay experience I had…. Last stop is Enchanted Kingdom! ADVENTURE HERE WE COME!!!
From Tagaytay to EK, I think it took us 2 hours due to traffic. We arrived in EK at 1pm. The entrance fee is P700 for students. Just bring a valid school ID. For more information about rates and discounts, visit Enchanted Kindom
We first tried the walang kamatayang Dodgem or simply Bump Car. Next is Bouncing Boulder This is a mini – version of Ekstreme Tower. Mini version so hindi nakakatakot.
Panic Mode ON
Chill Mode ON

After Bouncing Boulder, nanghihina na ko pero GO lang! Next is Flying Fiesta. Den shouted "Pascual okay ka lang ba?! Igalaw mo naman yung paa mo!" I think Den thought I passed out haha! But as I've said, I'm not afraid of heights so chill ako ngayon haha! Pero nakakahilo sya. Felt a little dizzy after the ride. Para mawala ang hilo namin, our group decided to go to Rialto 4D ride. But before that, we took again a lot of pictures.

Anchor’s Away is next! Dulo – dulo daw. Okay sige G! I’ve tried it before but I did not remember na nakakatakot pala XD. Okay pa naman nung una.. chill lang  tapos ayun Yaw quh na ulit! Iyak na si aquoeh. Literally, nanginig ako sa takot. That was the first time I felt something like that pero it’s okay.. SAYA KAYA! Good thing, Rohoney is with beside me, niyakap nya ako J
Nagkanya – kanya na kami ng paglilibot after. Maricon, Rohoney and I decided to take a lot of pictures na lang since nagsawa na si Maricon sa rides kasi every year ata nasa EK sya and mas gusto na lang namin ni Rohoney magpicture.
So third wheel pala ako?
Nakakapagod din pala mag-ikot at mainit!!! So we decided to freshen up by eating SUNDAE! YUM!!
Strawberry Cream, Butterscotch and Chocolate Fudge

By 6pm, nagkikita - kita ulit. Enchanted Kingdom is more enchanting at night. Ang ganda ng mga lights!
Most of us tried Ekstreme and Space shuttle pero Yaw quh na talaga XD (next time na lang). We were supposed to ride the ferris wheel kaso 8.30 pm pa so we decided na huwag na lang… mag-anchor’s away na lang ulit mas masaya at enjoy daw kasi mag-anchor’s away kapag gabi na. Okay, so heto na naman po tayo. Balak talaga naming ni Rohoney sa dulo ulit kaso it was already occupied so we sat in the middle.
YAW QUH NAH
I told myself “SA GITNA? EDI HINDI MO RAMDAM? NAKO HINDI ENJOY YAN.” Joke lang pala yun. ANG LAKAS NYA!!! LITERAL KALA KO TATAOB NA KO – YUNG HIHIWALAY NA KALULUWA KO SA KATAWAN KO!!! YAW QUH NA TALAGA! IYAK NA SI AQUOEH! UWI NA TAYO! DADDY!!!!!!!” So ayun, iyak na talaga ako dito. MY REACTION WAS PRICELESS KAYA TUWANG-TUWA MGA KASAMA KO EH!
Overall, this trip was the best! Sobrang saya! Puro tawa lang! Lahat ng stress nailabas namin sa isang araw. Sama – sama talaga! One more semester to go and then we’re graduates. We will now have different paths. I might lose contact with them (through FB na lang) but the memories will stay. Lagi ko ngang sinasabi, I did not expect that I will be close to some of them. Suprisingly, nakakatuwa kasi may nakita sila na side ko na ngayon lang nila nakita - “Yung akala mo chill pero hindi.” At yung napakadami kong epic pictures kapag stolen. Truly, I can by myself with them just like when I’m with TPK, POD, Maybelline, Holy Trinity, InaKapatidAnak and CFL J So lucky I have met these bunch. Super Enjoy! Thank you!!!

TRAVEL : Capones Vista, Zambales City

6:08:00 AM
This summer, my family decided to go to Capones Vista, Zambales City. It is a 3 hour road trip from Bulacan. It is a family friendly resort with good amenities under reasonable price.
Capones Vista has its own souvenir shop, canteen, an adult pool and a kiddie pool. What I like the most is you can relax in the beach chair while looking at the ocean.
The adult pool is up to 6 or 7 feet (estimated depth)
Breakfast is inclusive if you stayed overnight. You can choose either foreign or filipino breakfast.
The next day we did island hopping. The Island hopping costs P150 per person.

For more information, you can visit their page :  Capones Vista

ABOUT ME : Battling with Acne

9:26:00 PM
This is my acne journey and this is my story.
I started to have pimples in 6th grade. My face was so oily at that time but I don’t have blemishes, just small but sometimes big annoying pimples on some part of my face.  My dermatologist gave me Panoxyl 5% gel.  I used Panoxyl up to 2nd yr. high school. At first, Panoxyl worked well for me but after some time my skin got used to Panoxyl and it doesn’t work anymore.

I had my first facial in 3rd year high school. I told my dermatologist that Panoxyl no longer work for me so she changed it to Epiduo and she also told me to use a moisturizer  since Epiduo can make your skin dry. During my first use of Epiduo , my skin started to peel. After the peeling stage, my skin started to look better. And during 4th year high school, my skin looked good. It still has blemishes but the pimples were gone.

But like Panoxyl, Epiduo’s effectivity didn’t last long. During my 1st semester 1st year in college, MY SKIN BROKE OUT LIKE CRAZY! I can no longer call it simply as pimples. I now call it as “ACNE.” I started to have big pimples or papules all over my face. I also started to gain weight and became overweight. One my classmates asked me, “stressed ka no?”.  Yes! I am so stressed during that time.  1st semester 1st year in college was the time I didn’t have social life. I just study and eat, study and eat. So the result is weight gain and acne. Thankfully, it didn’t affect my confidence but during semester break I had wake up call. I realized that this is not good.
I started to have double chin here and my skin broke out

And behold! I'm already overweight at this point and as you can see my face is all red due to acne
It kinda looks like this

So, I went to see my dermatologist and when she saw me, she was like :

“What happened to you?!”

I was like, “I was so stressed.”

My dermatologist told me to stop using Epiduo and the moisturizer and changed my treatment to topical antiobiotic Erythromycin Solution, teatree soap and pink lotion. And it worked like magic! (Erythromycin solution is an antibiotic and should only be used for 3 months). Within those 3 months (start of 2nd semester 1st year) , my skin started to clear up again. Yey! That was also the time I started to diet and changed my lifestyle for good.

After 3 months, she changed Erythromycin solution to Clarifying lotion and Benzac. I used it both up to 1st semester 2nd year in college.

Like the other products that I’ve used before, Benzac somewhat lost its effectivity and my skin started to broke out again but not as terrible as before. Because of that, my dermatologist changed clarifying lotion and Benzac to Clindaze (Clindamycin, a topical antibiotic but less potent than Erythromycin). I also used this for 3 months (start of 2nd semester 2nd year), and like Erythromycin it worked!

After 3 months, she changed it to Mandelic Acid with Malic Acid (a toner). It worked very well. It prevented breakouts and my skin is started to clear up again.

I continued using Mandelic Acid up to 3rd year 2nd semester. During that time, my skin looked good though I had occasional breakouts before having my period.

But like the other topical treatments that I used, it also lost its effectivity.
On March 2017, my skin started to broke out. At first I thought that it is just a common breakout and after I have my period it will be gone but I was wrong. IT WAS ACNE ALL OVER AGAIN.
It was so frustrating because I thought my skin was finally okay, that my battle with acne was finally over.

I visited my dermatologist again and just like me she was also frustrated. She said that there are really cases when you thought that your skin is finally okay but a simple hormonal imbalance will ruin everything. She also said that since I have a hormonal acne, she will prescribe me again a topical antibiotic. I am currently using Cetaphil Antibacterial Bar, Erythromycin Solution and Benzoyl Peroxide.
After a week of using my new medication, there was a slight improvement but I still have some pimples on my face because I just had my period. Currently, I have mild to moderate acne with acne marks.

I am hoping for the best and my battle with acne has just started again.

Do not be deceived! I have acne but thanks to the power of makeup I was able to conceal it =D (I actually consider myself as a makeup guru LOL!)
P.S. Never let acne lower your self-esteem because acne is a normal thing. If you are suffering from acne right now, find the right people you can talk to like your family and friends. If you already did every natural remedy for acne and nothing works, it is better for you to seek a dermatologist because they are the right people that can treat acne.
