TRAVEL: Tagaytay and Enchanted Kingdom 2017

6:16:00 AM
Finally updated my blog!!! This semester is absolutely stressful! Good thing I survived. J I have gained new friends and one of them is the reason behind our Getaway (Thanks Den!). So, here goes…
Tagaytay – Enchanted Kingdom 2017 Trip was organized by Momshie Den. The adventures are Ben, Dennice, Coleen, Karylle, Danico, Regina, Sitti, Maricon, Rohoney and I. All of us were already awake at 2am (some did not even bother to sleep).
Coleen and Dennice
Our first destination is Picnic Grove. We arrived at approx. 8am (not sure of the exact time though).  The entrance is P50 per person.Inside picnic grove, you will see a lot of souvenir shops, you can also try their zipline and if you want to rent a cottage, you need to pay P150. The temperature in Tagaytay is not as cold as I expected pero mararamdaman mo pa rin yung malamig na simoy ng hangin. We ate the yummy spaghetti cooked by Den na kaya pala masarap kasi dinadagan ng dalawang tomato sauce ng mommy nya =) Even in Tagaytay, we cannot stop talking about the happenings last semester. Those moments that we felt the pressure and stress.

Next stop is People's Park in the Sky. The entrance fee is P30.00 per person. Since we were so tamad to walk uphill, we payed P7.00 each for the jeepney ride. Once you reached the top, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Take some instagram worthy photos. You can also try their Tagaytay Adventure Jungle. Fifty pesos per animal (parrot, snake or crocodile) you want to hold and have a picture with. I chose the friendly snake. i also wanted to hold the crocodile kaso naisip ko next time na lang pag balik ko.

I’ve been in Tagaytay a lot of times and for now, this is the best Tagaytay experience I had…. Last stop is Enchanted Kingdom! ADVENTURE HERE WE COME!!!
From Tagaytay to EK, I think it took us 2 hours due to traffic. We arrived in EK at 1pm. The entrance fee is P700 for students. Just bring a valid school ID. For more information about rates and discounts, visit Enchanted Kindom
We first tried the walang kamatayang Dodgem or simply Bump Car. Next is Bouncing Boulder This is a mini – version of Ekstreme Tower. Mini version so hindi nakakatakot.
Panic Mode ON
Chill Mode ON

After Bouncing Boulder, nanghihina na ko pero GO lang! Next is Flying Fiesta. Den shouted "Pascual okay ka lang ba?! Igalaw mo naman yung paa mo!" I think Den thought I passed out haha! But as I've said, I'm not afraid of heights so chill ako ngayon haha! Pero nakakahilo sya. Felt a little dizzy after the ride. Para mawala ang hilo namin, our group decided to go to Rialto 4D ride. But before that, we took again a lot of pictures.

Anchor’s Away is next! Dulo – dulo daw. Okay sige G! I’ve tried it before but I did not remember na nakakatakot pala XD. That was the first time I felt something like that pero it’s okay.. SAYA KAYA! Good thing, Rohoney is with beside me, niyakap nya ako J
Nagkanya – kanya na kami ng paglilibot after. Maricon, Rohoney and I decided to take a lot of pictures na lang since nagsawa na si Maricon sa rides kasi every year ata nasa EK sya and mas gusto na lang namin ni Rohoney magpicture.
So third wheel pala ako?
Nakakapagod din pala mag-ikot at mainit!!! So we decided to freshen up by eating SUNDAE! YUM!!
Strawberry Cream, Butterscotch and Chocolate Fudge

By 6pm, nagkikita - kita ulit. Enchanted Kingdom is more enchanting at night. Ang ganda ng mga lights!
Most of us tried Ekstreme and Space shuttle pero Yaw quh na talaga XD (next time na lang). We were supposed to ride the ferris wheel kaso 8.30 pm pa so we decided na huwag na lang… mag-anchor’s away na lang ulit mas masaya at enjoy daw kasi mag-anchor’s away kapag gabi na. Okay, so heto na naman po tayo. Balak talaga naming ni Rohoney sa dulo ulit kaso it was already occupied so we sat in the middle.
YAW QUH NAH
I told myself “SA GITNA? EDI HINDI MO RAMDAM? NAKO HINDI ENJOY YAN.” Joke lang pala yun. ANG LAKAS NYA!!! LITERAL KALA KO TATAOB NA KO – YUNG HIHIWALAY NA KALULUWA KO SA KATAWAN KO!!! YAW QUH NA TALAGA! IYAK NA SI AQUOEH! UWI NA TAYO! DADDY!!!!!!!” So ayun, iyak na talaga ako dito. MY REACTION WAS PRICELESS KAYA TUWANG-TUWA MGA KASAMA KO EH!
Overall, this trip was the best! Sobrang saya! Sama – sama talaga! One more semester to go and then we’re graduates. We will now have different paths. I might lose contact with them (through FB na lang) but the memories will stay. Lagi ko ngang sinasabi, I did not expect that I will be close to some of them. At yung napakadami kong epic pictures kapag stolen. Truly, I can by myself with them just like when I’m with TPK, POD, Maybelline, Holy Trinity, InaKapatidAnak and CFL J So lucky I have met these bunch. Super Enjoy! Thank you!!!

COLLEGE : Lessons Learned in Studying Pharmacy

6:55:00 PM
1. Pharmacy is a difficult course
Sa sobrang hirap nya, tinuruan nya ko to easily let go. Kapag bagsak sa quiz, let go agad para hindi na madepress pa, kapag late at napagalitan, let go agad para hindi lalong sumama loob. In short matutong mag-let go para maka-move on agad.
Laboratory Class
After the quiz kasi wala kaming tulog ... result of our quiz : Ayun, bagsak =( pero move on agad!
2. Balance academic life and social life
Sa sobrang dami ng inaaral minsan mawawalan ka ng time para social life kaya naghanap pa rin ako ng time para ma-balance ko ang academic and social life ko. Paano? By planning ahead or doing schoolwork beforehand. If  I know I’m going to have lots of quizzes, inaaral ko kaagad. Why wait the night before the quiz or the quiz itself? Doing schoolwork ahead of time reduces anxiety and stress. Plus you will not look like a zombie from the Night of the Living Dead.

Calda's (Year End Party)
3. Learn to manage stress
Stress talaga ang kalaban ko. Ayoko sa lahat ng nai-stress ako. One way to know that I’m stressed (alam ito ng mga friends ko) is kapag naka-ayos ako. Weird right?
ME at Home without kilay, face cream and lipstick (I look younger without makeup) VS ME during Weekends haha!
4. Be positive at all times
I know that it’s hard to be positive when everything around you fails but still, BE POSITIVE.  Instead of saying “I will not fail,” say “I will succeed”. See the difference? The former is negative and the latter shows positiveness. Remember, positive attracts positive.
5. Believe in yourself
Magtiwala ka sa sarili mo. If you don’t believe in yourself, who will believe in you? You should be your no.1 fan. Do not think that you can’t. Think that you can.

COLLEGE : What I Experienced as a 3rd Year Pharmacy Student

11:39:00 PM
I consider my experiences during my 3rd year studying Pharmacy as somewhat exciting. There are a lot of "first." It helped me get out of my comfort zone to become a better person and to manage my time wisely.
WHAT I EXPERIENCED:
1. To be late
I am never late. On time ako lagi lalo na klase. Before, I consider being late as a mortal sin pero ngayon normal na sa akin ang ma-late.
2. To review for the quiz 30 minutes before the actual quiz
I am always prepared pero ngayong 3rd year wala ng time to prepare.
3. To answer the quiz without any idea about it
– Nakapasa naman =D Kaya dapat talaga discussion pa lang nakikinig ka na para if ever you don't have time to review for the quiz, you still have an idea about it kasi nakinig ka sa discussion.
4. To be sleep-deprived
Five to six hours na lang ang tulog ko and I consider it as sleep deprivation kasi I normally sleep for seven to eight hours a day.
5. To actually laugh at myself while taking an exam (because I know I’m dead)
That was during midterm exam. I know I reviewed and I did my best pero wala talaga eh.
6. To fail (exam, quiz, etc)
Yeah, I failed one of my exam. First time ever.

7. To join a quizbee
Unexpectedly, I was included in the list of students qualified for the quizbee at naka-abot ako sa Top 10.
My Quizbee Buddies (at the bottom from L to R) - ako, dhanna, kyle, emie, cynthia.
8. To be a multimedia student major in acting, directing and video editing
Even before, I really enjoy editing videos during my freetime at ngayong 3rd year sobrang nagamit ko sya kasi puro video presentation ang mga projects namin. Masaya siya kasi kung saan - saan kami nakapunta for our shooting.

Serendipity Commercial
Mademoiselle Lipstick Commercial
9. To model
My friends always told me that I have a "neutral' face. Hindi daw nila malaman kung ano ang emosyon ko kaya nung ako yung kinuha nilang model para sa mga presentation namin, sobrang nahirapan ako kasi masyadong "plain" ang mga pictures. Buti na lang, sa last shooting namin, nai-portray ko na yung "look" na hinahanap nila at natuwa naman professor namin =D

10. To perform in front of a live audience.
Our group was chosen to represent our section in the marketing competition. First time ko to na gawin though even before naranasan ko na rin naman magsalita sa stage pero iba kasi ang marketing competition. You need to attract your audience. Kailangan hindi boring kasi you are marketing a product. Nakakatawa nga siya eh kasi we are marketing a mineral water and we only have 15 minutes to prepare (on the spot mo malalaman yung product na ima-market mo). Yey!!!
11. To meet other people
They have their own unique personality that made them special.

PH 3Y2-3

12. To not graduate with flying colors and believe that another door will open for me
Positivity is the key =)
I learned to PREPARE FOR THE UNEXPECTED. Kailangan handa ka sa kahit anong mangyari. Dapat hindi ka panghihinaan ng loob. ACCEPT CHANGE TO BECOME A BETTER VERSION OF YOU.

FRIENDS : POD

6:31:00 AM
Christmas Party and Birthday bash in Seoul Garden
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETH, CAI, CAMS, CON!

POD is the abbreviation of my group in college. The creation of POD is somewhat unlikely as I may say. Its creation is like a joke but we decided to make it LEGAL J.

POD is actually a study group. The members of POD came from different subgroups and due to unexpected circumstances, these subgroups were united into one and POD was born.

Section 1 SubGroup =D
Sec. 2 SubGroup =D

Section 4 SubGroup
Being a member of POD makes me happy. They remind me so much of my TPK. Though there are differences between TPK and POD, I can say that these 2 groups have one thing in common. That is being genuine.

Please notice the naughty girl at the upper right corner =D
POD members stay true to themselves. We like to eat a lot, sing together, dance together, mimic others together, joke around each other and of course, we study together. We always have each other’s back especially in terms of studies.

During lab class
Mang Inasal birthday bash
HAPPY BIRTHDAY VAN!
McDonald's birthday bash
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY!
KFC's birthday bash
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAI, ATE ROB, CHRISTY AND AMI!
When I’m with POD, I can be my 75% self (100% self is in front of my family). I am never embarrassed with them even if I do something stupid.

Aside from studying, POD knows how to party! (of course). We don’t try to kill ourselves by studying.

POD members are not perfect. Each of us has a unique personality and sometimes we get to each other’s nerves. We already experienced difficult moments that tested our friendship. We had “issues” but we managed to solve them by talking to each other. We also had a couple of misunderstandings. Up to now, I believe that we still have a few more issues that we need to resolve but I don’t like to rush things. I believe that I should just let time decide when he is going to unravel those “issues.”

Now that we are incoming 3rd year students, I will not wish for POD to be together forever because WALANG FOREVER rather, I wish that POD will continue to be friends.

All I can say is that I will give my uttermost respect to the POD members decisions as long as they will be happy.

Honestly, I'm not yet ready if POD will be separated. But, no matter what happens, I know that POD will be friends. POD will remain a group that I co-created thanks to my wild imagination. And,

POD will be…     POD.
